Salem Furnace
Through an energy audit carried out, we have detected a high potential for improvement in the consumption of Natural Gas in the Salem Furnace of the Trapaga plant. This improvement is aimed at reducing heat losses, which are marked in the external structure of the furnace boiler. To undertake this improvement it was necessary to make a new configuration of the different layers of refractory and insulation of the furnace floor.
Thanks to this project, we improved our energy efficiency and reduced our carbon footprint.
Calderys Ibérica Refractarios
Project included in the line of aid for energy saving in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by IDAE under the National Energy Efficiency Fund, with the aim of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
